Our High School (Lycée, in French) is a private secular school under contract with the State.
From Seconde (age 15) to Terminale (age 17), Sévigné has 270 students who study for the French Baccalauréat diploma in one of three streams, or séries, corresponding to their scholastic aptitudes or future education plans: Languages and Literature (L), Economics and Social Sciences (ES) or Mathematics and Experimental Sciences (S).

Depending on their year group and options, students will be given the opportunity to participate in various educational projects, conferences as part of the preparation for competitive entrance exams to Sciences Po, a journalistic writing workshop or preparation for entrance exams for other higher education establishments, selected by their teachers.

Developing Humanities and international awareness has always been very important at Collège Sévigné. Consequently, the teaching of ancient and modern languages is a top priority for the establishment.
We therefore offer a European section with History and Geography taught in English.
Since September 2016, we also offer an American international section with preparation for the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB).
