School outings and trips allow the theoretical knowledge provided within the walls of the classroom, to come up against an often more complex and multifaceted reality.*
They give students the opportunity to work differently. They awaken curiosity and the love of learning in young people. At secondary school, these trips are the perfect opportunity for pupils to practice a foreign language in the country where it is spoken.
Outings and school trips are also a good opportunity to gain independence, to learn to take the initiative and how to live with others. These are all skills that our pupils need to acquire to succeed in school and later on in life.
Collège Sévigné has always pursued a proactive policy on outings and school trips to reinforce and support classroom teaching. Field trips (not including overnight stays) are included in the tuition fees. Overnight school trips are not included in annual tuition fees. If needed, families can apply for financial aid for these overnight stays.
Choosing to come to Collège Sévigné means being open to the world and to the people around us.
