*Collège Sévigné has not implemented the new school timetables recommended by the French Ministry of Education.

Pupils can arrive at school from 7.30AM. A small snack is provided.

After-school care for Kindergarten children is available from 4:20PM to 6:00PM. Children can be picked up at any time during these hours.

After-school study is available for Primary school children from 4:15PM to 6:00PM.

 Absences

Parents should inform the school of any absence by email to Mrs Bejani as soon as possible: a.bejani@collegesevigne.fr

 End of school day

At 4:20PM, parents pick up their Kindergarten children directly from their classroom.

From 4:30PM, class by class, primary school pupils are accompanied by their teacher to the main door. Each child leaves with the person authorized to pick them up from school.

Latecomers will have to wait until all primary school pupils have left to pick up their child.

For pupils in CM1 and CM2 (ages 9 and 10), parents can inform the school that their child has permission to leave the premises without an adult. This authorization form is provided at the beginning of the school year.

Lunch

Kindergarten children are served lunch in their classroom.

Pupils in CP to CM2 (ages 6 to 10) go to the self-service cafeteria. The younger children are of course assisted by the cafeteria supervisors.

School reports

Pupils receive three school reports (in December, April and June). The first school report is given to parents during a parent-teacher meeting.

It is also important that you read your child’s work and follow their progress by regularly checking the notebooks you sign every week on Friday.

Support teaching

Teachers for pupils from Kindergarten to CM2 (ages 3 to 10) provide support teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 to 12:30PM for Kindergarten and according to class level for CP to CM2 (ages 6 to 10). This support teaching is provided in agreement with the parents of the individual pupil.

Being involved in your child’s education

Teachers can meet with parents by appointment. Parents can request an appointment by email to the teacher's school email address.

Class parent representatives meet with the teaching staff and Primary School Principal on a quarterly basis at School Council meetings.
